1st of all, thx all for the help on edit patrolling. at this point, im not going to ask for help on that, on the turbine main board. for the further growth of the site, i'd like to see organized efforts on several sections of the wiki. i'd like to hear thoughts on the following.

  • filling in and completing named item pages
    • this is important, especially since we no longer have anyone maintaining definitive list on the main board
    • jjflanigan is doing very well on his site though. [1]
    • "unique item" vs "named item" terminology conflict is one thing. we had a claim that we shouldnt use the word "unique" years back, and tried to fix that but its still in the works...
  • scratching item enhancement category > item enchantment category, including revamp of templates (talk)
  • quest template and quest pages polish
    • scratching addpack template on the top of each page and adding adpack field, like what borror said here
    • including other stuff (flavor txt, loading image and such) into the template
  • cleaning up newbie guide, and starting a class guide
    • especially starting guides are mess, lots of obsolete build advices

whats our priority, in the upcoming year, do you guys think?

"unique item" is locked against edits, and some people really like to add those preview pics how it looks on character, and personally I'm more for having the screenshot of the item details too and only "named item" provides that

  • Scratching item enhancement category > item enchantment category:
    • Don't really care what we should call it, but it might be a good idea to try and keep a small tutorial up for editing, if you just want to lend a hand you would have no idea where to start.
      • The category was more of a way to link them together, so if you knew one you could find the others
  • I like the idea of an automated system, might fiddle around some with the named item templates to see if i can add something there too.
    • Can't seem to find a way to get info back out of a category page listing, only the handwritten info
      • So can't be fully automated, it's just moving around the work
