Taken are Aberration type monsters.
Description[edit]
One of the few monsters in DDO created specifically for the game rather than borrowed from a pen-and-paper sourcebook, the Taken are humanoids transformed into terrifying monsters by the mad Xorian artist Yaulthoon. Despite Yaulthoon's confidence in his artistic prowess, his rivals among the servants of the Lord of Eyes consider them rather trite, and as such Taken so far only appear in quests where Yaulthoon himself is serving as the main villain.

- Slam (Bludgeoning)
- Sticky (-70% movement speed, -20% attack speed, -4 AC penalty, -2 penalty to reflex saves, -25% fortification, cannot jump or tumble)
- Corrosive attack (ranged, acid)
