Components:	SomaticSomatic: A somatic component is a measured and precise movement of the hand. You cannot cast spells that require this component if you cannot move causing arcane spell failure resulting in a ruined spell. Spells without a somatic component may be used with disregard to Arcane Spell Failure chance. Note - that characters make the same arm gestures for most spells in DDO, so you can't tell which spells require this component by watching your character's animations., VerbalVerbal: A verbal component is a spoken incantation. You cannot cast spells that require this component if you cannot act or speak. Certain rare spells, such as Silence Creature, may temporarily disable spells that require verbal components.

Description

Blasts an enemy with loud high-pitched sounds, dealing 1d6+1 sonic damage per caster level. (Maximum sonic damage 8d6+8.) The target must make a successful Will save to avoid being dazed for 2 seconds, or until they take damage. This spell has double range.

Notes

• Since Update 56, Sonic Blast is a single target spell; it continues to destroy breakables in an AoE.
• The spell is able to bend its trajectory somewhat in order to hit moving targets but can hit other obstacles if target moves behind them.
• Elementals, Undead, Plants, Constructs, and Oozes are immune to daze effect.
• There's no save versus the damage.
• Spell Augmentation does not affect Sonic Blast.
• If you have Rank 3 of Master the Acoustics from Fatesinger, Sonic Blast deals an additional 50% total damage.
• This spell receives +10 maximum caster level from the Master of Music epic feat.
