Zawabi's Refuge[edit]
Anytime you approach him, he will say:
- Raff: The name's Raff. I run this little watering hole. Can I get you something?
- You: Hello, Raff. Can I see what's on the menu? (Open shop)
- You: Mind telling me about Menechtarun?
- Raff: I haven't done much in the realm of adventuring. You might find the drow more knowledgeable about the lands outside this oasis.
- You: Thanks for the tip. (Walk away)

- You: Heard anything interesting? (randomly says one of the following options)
- Raff: A bunch of dwarves came into the oasis as part of a survey team. I hear they were sent on a prospecting mission from the Coin Lords of Stormreach. They're gone now, though I don't know if it was because of scarce mineral deposits or the trouble they had getting it out of the ground. On second thought, I remember seeing one of them by Zawabi's Circle. He might still be around.
- Raff: There's a local named Miroc. Crazy old coot, I tell you. We were up past sundown talking and drinking and he spun a crazy yarn about being a few hundred years old. Can you imagine?
- Raff: Being a Warforged has its share of benefits, sure. But staying awake all night with nothing to do and nobody to talk to gets old fast. I'm glad there are others of my kind around here now. They have some amazing stories about the trip to and from Stormreach. A good bunch of fellows.
- Raff: That couple o'er there went through a rough patch. They were traveling with a caravan from House Phiarlan and it was ambushed by the Windlashers. It's a miracle they survived. I know Phiarlan wants to avoid those attacks in the future and is paying travel expenses in exchange for guard duty.
- Raff: Those ladies wandering around sure brighten up the place, don't you think? Pretty as a moonbeam on the water, but there's something a bit odd about them. Maybe I'm just being paranoid... but why would three such as they be interested in settling down here? I think Zawabi may have something to do with it....
- You: Interesting. Anything else to tell me? (He says another random text from above)
- You: Let's have a look at the menu. (Open shop)
- You: Thanks for the tip. (Walk away)
