Tips and Misc

• Welcome back to the Underdark! This time, you're here to track down some kidnapped elves – and a Drow captain with a pet Hook Horror.
• To begin with, you'll need to take the plunge down an underground waterfall. A lever in a nearby room opens a portal back to the top.
  • An underwater passage in the plunge pool of the waterfall leads to an optional area full of various Underdark monsters and a few Demons. It also contains Rubbleworm the Carrion Crawler. To exit this area (and also get another optional) you'll need to pull a blue lever, opening a secret door to another portal.
  • The lower cavern area also contains a chest – to reach it you'll have to climb a stone ladder on the West wall. Be aware that the ledge is guarded by Spell Wards and Spirit Nagas.
• Now head along the tunnel to a cave in which you fight the Umber Hulk Vicjss. Afterwards, head South, minding the Howlers and Devils (try to avoid activating both groups at once), and drop down into a cave filled with mushrooms.
  • Halfway up this cave is a shrine – this is also guarded by Spirit Nagas.
• Pull a lever in the mushroom cave and start following the Drow to their encampment. Near the end of this tunnel you'll reach a four-way intersection with a barrier blocking the South route – you'll need to do a bit of swimming to pull two more levers.
  • A secret door just after the barrier conceals a final shrine.
• When you reach the final cavern, Niziira Xiltun sets her Hook Horror on you. She'll send some Drow in to back this up when it reaches half health, then she and the rest of her soldiers attack when the Hook Horror dies. Afterwards, speak to the 8 nearby captives to complete the quest.
