Past Life: Arcane Initiate

Description

You recall more about your past life as a wizard. You have +1 to the DC's of spells you cast and can cast the magic missile spell ten times per rest, creating a missile of magical energy that darts forth and unerringly strikes its target inflicting 1d2+3 force damage. For every 2 caster levels beyond first you gain an additional missile, maximum 10 missiles.

Notes

  • The magic missiles cast much like the regular spell - fully accepting all meta's and force damage amplifcation effects, allowing it to deal HEAVY damage.
  • You get up to twice as many missiles as the actual spell (which caps at 5 missiles per to the spell description)
  • The magic missiles are even better in another way: They completely ignore the Shield (spell), which would normally block them.
  • You can even use the clicky while under the effects of anti magic, such as from a Beholder.
  • Due to all these things, this feat is extremely powerful and desired by nearly every caster since it replicates the effects 8 other feats (all spell focuses) and the clicky is quite powerful.
