Mephit race

Mephits are minor creatures from the elemental planes.

Description[edit]

All mephits appear as small, winged creatures with more or less humanoid features. While they are often described as impish, their elemental origins are apparent at first glance.

Qualities[edit]

  • When not on their own home Elemental Plane, they are Extraplanar. This means that they will be affected by Banishing weapons and the spells Dismissal and Banishment.
  • Mephit Fast Healing
  • Fire and ice mephits are immune to the element which corresponds to their particular elemental type and vulnerable to the opposite element.

Types[edit]

Mephits can be either Air Outsider type, Earth Outsider type, or Fire Outsider type. Fire mephits fall under Fire Outsider type, salt and sand mephits fall under Earth Outsider type, and air, dust, and ice mephits fall under Air Outsider type.

They are outsiders, but as neutral elemental outsiders they don't fit in either Lawful, Chaotic or Evil Outsider categories. Therefore, no known Bane weapon in game affects them.
