• Magnus d'Orien: Most of Droaam's forces rely on conventional arms. Though rumor has it that the Daughters of Sora Kell are powerful spellcasters.

Hall of the Planes

Magnus is in charge of teleporting heroes to the plane of Shavarath.

• Magnus d'Orien: "So... it is as we have foreseen. Heroes come. I am Magnus, of house Orien. I am the Planescaller.
  • You: "Yes. I have come. And I need transportation."
  • Magnus d'Orien: "So be it. I trust you know the name of the plane to which you are tasked to travel?"
    • You: "I wish to travel to Shavarath, the Battleground."
      • Magnus d'Orien: "Indeed. Some members of the Council have been sent ahead of you to establish a beachhead in preperation for our counterstrike against the Devils. But beware! Shavarath is perhaps the most dangerous place in all creation. Are you sure you are ready to take our battle to the enemy."
        • You: "I am ready, Planescaller. Send me on my way." (Triggers teleport to Amrath)
        • You: "Uh... well maybe I should stock up first. I'll be back." (Walk away)
    • You: "I wish to travel to Lammania, the Twilight Forest."
      • Magnus d'Orien: "I'm afraid not. Lamannia is under quarantine due to inter-planar continuum stress. If I even tried to send you there, the blowback would destroy the majority of northern Xen'Drik."
      • You: "Oh. Nevermind then. Can I travel somewhere else?" (See "So be it..." above.)
    • You: "I wish to travel to Dolurrh, the Realm of the Dead."
      • Magnus d'Orien: "Don't mock me, whelp! I am not one to be trifled with. If you want to get to the Realm of Death, I suggest you go jump off an airship in mid-flight.
      • You: "Actually... I tried that."
      • Magnus d'Orien: "Then you're an idiot. Now go away!"
      • You: "Wait! Bad jokes aside, I really do need your help!" (See "So be it..." above.)
  • You: "What is a Planescaller?"
    • Magnus d'Orien: "Fool! Do not presume to understand that which is beyond you. Through the Dragonmark of my house and the power of my will, I call two planes into coterminance for the brief moment that is required for a single transport. Most who try it die. So far I have lived. So I am a Planescaller. Does that satisfy you?"
