Temple of Elemental Evil Part Two[edit]

  • Jaer: Oh, thank goodness! Adventurers. Please help me get out of this place - I've been trapped here for weeks.
  • If you answer "Very well. The Portal Node at the entrance shrine is still attuned to the temple grounds. You can escape there."
    • Jaer: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
  • If you answer "Who are you?"
    • Jaer: Me? I'm Jaer, a weaver from Nulb. I got myself in a bit of trouble, and then got tossed into this madhouse by those crazy clerics in the temple.
    • You: What happened?
      • Jaer: I, uh, fell on some hard times, and tried to join a group of bandits. It was alright for a little while ... but, well, I couldn't bring myself to hurt people, so I quit the group. When I tried to leave, the leader of the bandits caught me and gave me to the temple. The clerics dragged me to one of those glowing runes, and next thing I knew, I was here.
      • You: That's terrible. How did you survive?
        • Jaer: Scavenging and hiding, mostly. I'm good at making things, so I've been able to cobble together some items I could use to survive. If you could help me get out of here, I'd be eternally grateful.
        • You: That I can do. The entrance shrine's portal rune is still active and will bring you back to the temple grounds. You can escape from there.
          • Jaer: It is? Thank you! Here, take this chest. I've been scavenging to survive. Perhaps what I've found will help you put an end to this awful place.
          • You: Good luck.
