Also drops in I Dream of Jeets, Inspiration Center and Plane of Nightmares

From Update 5 release notes:

Eardweller now comes out of various adventures in Inspired Quarter, in addition to Eye of the Titan: I Dream of Jeets, Inspiration Center and Plane of Nightmares now have places where it can be observed in its natural habitat. Eardweller remains an elusive and rarely seen quarry, however: it can be found more often in longer quests and in harder difficulty settings.

Q. Does a Warforged's 'immunity to disease' prevent the larva from spawning?

Warforged are immune to ability score damage from Natural Poisons and Natural Diseases but not the poison or disease itself and are still vulnerable to those that effect wood or metal. It use to prevent the larva from spawning before Update 14. I know that the DC on this was dropped dramatically for some time and even my Human Cleric was saving from the disease and was unable to reap the benefits. I haven't tried in some time, they may have fixed this. (I should play with it and figure out the DC on it again for poops and piddles... Final answer: You may have to get one and find out. Being Warforged has no negative effect on the Xachosian Eardweller or its ability to spawn the larva. As long has the disease portion is not removed before the timer runs out WF and non-wf will receive the larva. Bladedge (ContributionsMessage) 12:45, January 9, 2013 (EST)
