Image Names[edit]

"image names are now all correct" This is the kind of nit-picky BS that makes me want to stop trying to contribute at all. ALL of the images on this page (and a large number of other Cannith Challenge item images) were uploaded by me, and I used the exact same naming schema for them all, which detailed the name, level, and tier. There was no need to change the names, nothing was added at all, they were fine. -Niminae (ContribsMessage) 03:34, July 6, 2017 (EDT)

  • I mostly agree. Buuut... you know, wikipedia, yada yada, you have to be ready that other editors take your work and turn it around, dissect it, delete it, anything. Try to find satisfaction that you contributed the content and it still serves you and other folks. Other editors can find satisfaction in having everything 100% consistent. I mean, it's not that consistency is bad, it's great. Anyway, please keep on supplying the unique knowledge and don't feel bad if minions :-) do the formatting. --Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 05:01, July 6, 2017 (EDT)
    • Alright Cru. I'm just being salty. Or a jackass, your pick on which. :-P -Niminae (ContribsMessage) 01:01, July 8, 2017 (EDT)
  • It appears the naming policy and image help pages need to be updated for this use case. The normal naming convention is to follow the case specific name of the thing it's being named after and anything extra is spelled out in full words, wrapped in parenthesis, and all lower case, (level 1), (tier 1), (historic), (enhancement), etc. I'm aware there are many other pages and things on this wiki that aren't currently following this common practice, and I'll get around to updating all of them too. :)  👟 ShoeMaker (Contribs • Message) 👟 07:06, July 6, 2017 (EDT)
