It Came From the Desert

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

It Came From the Desert is a non-existent quest, listed as Level 22 on Adventure Compendium. It appears to be a quest that was in development during the creation of Update 21 and Wheloon/Thunderholme. They dropped it and removed it from the Compendium but keeps showing up on /quest completions log.

It is likely a part of the cut Anauroch Desert adventure pack, Heart of Netheril, and, given the horror movie-like title of the raid, the subject of the quest was likely to be the Tarrasque, which had been recovering in the desert ever since part of its body was used as a material component for Karsus's Folly, an ancient Netherese spell that stole the Weave from Mystra for but a moment long ago.

Shows up between Deathwyrm and Fire on Thunder Peak in the list.

Yeah, that Raid will be disappearing for good with U28.

(It's not in the compendium anymore, IIRC, but still shows up with /quest completions at the moment. That'll be gone as well soon)

Cool.
