Description

Fires a small orb of frost at a target, doing 1d6+2 cold damage per caster level (max 10d6+20 at caster level 10).

Notes

• This spell requires fewer spell points than Niac's Cold Ray, but has a longer recharge and lower base damage. On the plus side, there's no saving throw, and it scales to 10d6+20 at level 10, whereas Niac's Cold Ray caps out at 5d5+25 (save half) at level 5.
• Has a shared cooldown with other Elemental Bolt spells for Sorcerers.
• Against players, it deals 1d5 cold damage per caster level (max 10d5 at caster level 10).
