Fast Movement (Monk)

Description

While centered (unarmored, unencumbered, and wielding monk weapons), you run faster for every three monk levels you possess.

A Monk or Dragon Disciple gains a 5% bonus to run speed at level 3 and additional 5% for each time this feat is acquired, for a total of 35% at monk level 18.

The full bonus is lost, when a monk is uncentered from encumberance in a monk's sense.
The additional bonus is lost, when a monk is uncentered by wielding a weapon or armor or shield, keeping the 5% base bonus.

Notes

  • This bonus stacks with other run speed bonuses.
  • This feat often grants high level Monks the fastest passive running speed in the game. However, Barbarians can still outpace them in bursts when using their Sprint Boost enhancements. Fast Movement has no affect on attack speed, unlike the Haste spell.
