Korthos Village[edit]

If you have not talked to your Class Trainer, you are a Druid or Artificer, or if there is no quest available in the Korthos tutorial quest series:

  • Drahcir Norac: You are weak, but I can teach you to be strong. The fury of battle calls!
    • You: Spend action points on enhancements.
    • You: Advance to the next level as a barbarian.
      • Drahcir Norac: (if you have no Barbarian levels) Are you certain that you wish to multiclass into the barbarian class? If you are currently on a path, you will leave it by doing so.
        • You: Yes, I still wish to train with you.
          • Drahcir Norac: (if you don't have enough XP to level up) You do not have enough experience to advance.
          • Drahcir Norac: (if you have enough XP to level up) (open Advancement UI)
        • You: No, you are right. I will choose another class. (ends conversation)
      • Drahcir Norac: (if you don't have enough XP to level up and have at least one Barbarian level) You do not have enough experience to advance.
      • Drahcir Norac: (if you have enough XP to level up and have at least one Barbarian level) (open Advancement UI)
    • You: Reset your enhancements.
      • Drahcir Norac: (if you have no Barbarian levels) I do not see the barbarian's madness in your eyes or the fire in your heart. Seek your training elsewhere!
      • Drahcir Norac: (if you have at least one Barbarian level) You can reset your enhancements in any public area by opening up your Enhancement Panel (Ctrl-R) and choose to Reset Tree or Reset All Trees.
    • You: Ask for Barbarian advice.
      • Drahcir Norac: A barbarian doesn't need magic or fancy tricks. Barbarians conquer using their strength, their blades, and their unquenchable Rage! What else do you need to know?
        • You: What sort of armor should a barbarian wear?
        • You: What sort of weapon should a barbarian use?
          • Drahcir Norac: A barbarian can use any simple or martial weapon. Preferably the biggest, sharpest thing you can find, like a great axe.
            • You: What sort of armor should a barbarian wear? (see above)
            • You: Tell me about the Rage ability. (see below)
            • You: Tell me about the Uncanny Dodge ability. (see below)
            • You: I would like to train now. (see "A barbarian doesn't need..." above)
        • You: Tell me about the Rage ability.
          • Drahcir Norac: Activate your Rage ability to enter a bloodthirsty frenzy that will temporarily increase your Strength and Hit Points in exchange for a temporary penalty to your Armor Class. Be careful, though, for when your Rage passes you will become Fatigued!
        • You: Tell me about the Uncanny Dodge ability.
          • Drahcir Norac: Activate your Uncanny Dodge ability to gain a temporary bonus to your Armor Class, making you harder to hit. It also grants a temporary bonus to your Reflex saves, which is useful when evading traps and certain spells.
            • You: What sort of armor should a barbarian wear? (see above)
            • You: What sort of weapon should a barbarian use? (see above)
            • You: Tell me about the Rage ability. (see above)
            • You: I would like to train now. (see "A barbarian doesn't need..." above)

If you have talked to your class trainer, are not a Druid or Artificer, and have a quest available in the Korthos tutorial quest series:

  • Drahcir Norac: We cannot predict when the Devourer cult will strike. Be on guard.
    • You: I would like to use your services. (see "A barbarian doesn't need..." above)
