Name: Dock Worker

Race: Human

Gender: Male

Locations:

Description: Trading in Stormreach is highly profitable and there are many Merchants buzzing around the Harbor. The large quantity of Merchants require many Dock Workers to transport all their cargo. They can be found all over the Lower Harbor carrying goods, helping ships dock, sorting cargo, and various other manual labor tasks.

The Harbor or The Wayward Lobster[edit]

Dock Workers without unique dialogue say the following things:

  • Dock Worker: I hear the kobolds got a scheme to get themselves hired to haul goods. Don't know what kind of idiot will hire kobolds to carry anything.
  • Dock Worker: I ain't got time to dilly dally!
  • Dock Worker: Things here in Stormreach ain't so bad. Sure, there are dangers - but there's plenty of work to be had.
  • Dock Worker: The Free Agents pay me a good wage.
  • Dock Worker: You wanna hire someone to watch your back? Go see one of the Hireling Vendors. There's one right here in the Harbor.
  • Dock Worker: I usually go to Baudry Cartamon when I'm looking for work. Don't bother with Hazadill - that cheap Bugbear only hires kobolds.
  • Dock Worker: New to Stormreach? Don't go into the Northern Harbor unless you want to deal with the kobold infestation up there.
  • Dock Worker: Move this here, drop that there. Sometimes it feels like my entire life is walking between two places.
  • Dock Worker: Gangway!

Dock workers standing around carrying their heavy load while a Merchant decides where it needs to go:

  • Dock Worker: I wish he'd hurry up and make a decision. This is getting heavy.
