Description

Removes ongoing spells that have been cast on a target, on a successful caster level check 1d20+caster level (Maximum caster level 10.) of DC 11+spell's caster level. This check is made per spell, for every ongoing spell on a target.

Notes:

Some spells, as detailed in their descriptions, can't be defeated by dispel magic. (Bestow Curse is an important example.) Dispel magic can dispel spell-like effects just as it does spells.

If cast on a Spell Ward trap, this spell reduces the level of the trap by 1. (Description wrong, 4-12 per casting as of Update 47). If the level of the trap is reduced to 0, the trap is disabled.

Wizard Spell inscription : Requires Level 3 Inscription Materials.

Dispel Magic does not differentiate between helpful and harmful spells. This means that it will dispel useful spell effects on players, if used when no other dispellable effects are present.
