Tips and Misc

• The jungles of Xen'drix are home to a great many dangerous creatures, but most are wise enough to stay well clear of Stormreach, adventurer capital of the world. However, the scout Regina Vencyl has been tracking a huge horde of dinosaurs on a collision course with Stormreach – and she suspects something is driving them there deliberately.
• The format of this quest is fairly similar to that of Under the Cover of Darkness – groups of enemies, denoted by red dots, spawn on the maps, and you have to slay them all to summon another wave. However, unlike in that quest, every enemy spawns at once. You will need to take care to pull groups of enemies away from each other in order to avoid a complete cascade.
• The first wave is fairly simple – a few orange-named enemies patrol around the map, but otherwise the only dinosaurs found in it are fairly weak Celiophysises.
  • The optional to defeat the Horde Guides may be completed at any time – they spawn next to altars on the Northern and Western edges of the map, each accompanied by an orange-named Dinosaur.
• The second wave mixes things up by throwing Raptors and Polecanthuses into the mix, while the third wave spawns less Dinosaurs but every group includes an orange-named monster.
• When the third group of Dinosaurs is slain, the mastermind behind the dinosaur stampede, a huge Ettin, appears at the camp in the centre (be careful if you're fighting a Dinosaur near here, as he may spot you immediately.) The Ettin is a brute both in melee and at range and will also occasionally fling a Druid spell at you.
• With the Giant-kin driving the stampede eliminated, the remaining dinosaurs pose little threat to the city of Stormreach. Signs of outright aggression towards the city from Xen'drix's wild giants is likely a portent of more trouble on the horizon, but for the moment, at least, the dinosaur crisis is averted.
• Using the portal within the quest to exit teleports to the Marketplace gate. Recalling will place you near Regina.
