Special Qualities: Resistant to electricity and fire. Known Spells: Blur.
Habitat:
- Partycrashers — Disguised as Malior d'Phiarlan
Description: A tiefling disguised as Malior d'Phiarlan, who can be identified as an imposter by someone with True Seeing or high Wisdom. He can be tricked into the library using either intimidate or bluff based dialog options. A group of charmed Phiarlan Retainers will enter with him and attack you if you don't send them away with a diplomacy based dialog option before sending Dariel to the library. Taking care of him before the final fight will foil Lokael's plan to kill the Viceroy with his own guards.
Bug: On Epic, this monster has incorrectly scaling CRs and is red-named if confronted in the Library. On Epic Reaper, Dariel is orange-named and just CR 6 if confronted in the Library.
