Danger Room is an amenity on Guild Airships. You can use a Danger Room Deed to install this amenity on your ship, in a Hold Room slot.

* WARNING: The traps in this room do lethal damage. If you're playing on the Hardcore League, avoid entering room unless you can withstand the damage or turn off "danger mode".

The Danger Room provides a +1/2/3 bonus to Disable Device, Hide, Open Lock, Search, and Spot. It also contains some explosive barrels that you can break for random loot (gems, gold, Siberys shards, etc.).

The room can be set to "danger mode" or "safe mode".

  • In "danger mode", the Get Buffs box appears on the right side of the doorway. You can use the box safely from outside the room, but step carefully -- if you cross the threshold on the left side and enter the room, there are many floor-blade traps that each hit for 300+ damage unless you make a Reflex check of 60. (Should you survive these, the room has low platforms that are safe places to stand.)
  • In "safe mode", the blade trap is disabled, but the Get Buffs box does not appear. (You can still get the buffs by using the Amenity Bar on the ship's top deck.)

A lever that turns Danger Mode on or off is on a platform in the upper right of the room. You must evade the blade trap to cross the room and climb a ladder.

Possible bug: The explosive barrels appear to do little or no damage; the combat log does not provide damage numbers. Confirm at your own risk.
