DDO wiki:10th Anniversary (current status)[edit]

This is just a simple relaxed discussion regarding current progress on the "Most recent activity prizes" counts, a month has passed and I like seeing transparency.
Supposedly the 'DDO 10th Anniversary Event' date will be later February 2016. For 'DDO wiki:10th Anniversary' it appears there is still incomplete data within the tables. It would be a shame not to get the figures filled in before the end of February. Perhaps some of the categories were abandoned.
From my understanding scripts were used to calculate the total [Most active in the last...] Edit counts and mostly functioned correctly. Let's assume (live and deleted [edits] are counted as currently stated above on the said page).
Presuming the; "...30 days" included: December 06, 2015 and January 05, 2016? The account [Dywypi] would have the highest number of edits over those "30-days".
Assuming the "...90 days" included: October 07, 2015 and January 05, 2016? The account [Technical 13] would have the highest amount of edits over those 90-days. Because of taking into account of amount of the additional 'deleted user contributions' over that period (otherwise that result would be switched-around for 90-days).
None of the other accounts on the page have anything like those amounts of edits during those; 30 or 90-days; assuming those date ranges were chosen are correct (and that I can see all relevant edits via my Account).
It took me about two minutes to manually get that information. I probably could do it for the other two date ranges too; if I actually knew which dates were being included?
Since anyone eligible for "...6 months", is already on that page anyway, with well-over 3500 edits over that period (past 6 months or greater) and was active. Thus ruling out most accounts listed on the page for a start anyway.
Likewise with the "...year" edit counts, an educated guess would tell you it's going to be in the top few. I am sure it's all in capable hands.

  • I've just been super busy with a new son on the way in 6 weeks that I haven't had time to finish writing and debugging the scripts that will gather the information for it. If you are well versed with JavaScript, and aren't afraid of the MW:API, please feel free to work on those scripts and fill in the blanks. The date ranges are for the ## days preceding the 10th Anniversary show up until the time the show started. There are a lot of things that need to be considered and counted. Edits, deleted edits, page moves, protections, deletions, user rights changes, etc... ShoeMaker (ContribsMessage) 12:12, February 16, 2016 (EST)
    • For those of us whose prizes are not dependent on javascript, could you go ahead and submit our pet/loot choices to Cordovan? Judging by your post on this page it could be months before the rest of the winners are determined. - Susalona (ContribsMessage) 21:39, February 16, 2016 (EST)
      • If you've already submitted selections to me for prizes, they were sent to Cordovan two weeks ago at the very beginning of February. You are just waiting on him to have some free time to create and mail those prizes out. ShoeMaker (ContribsMessage) 23:01, February 16, 2016 (EST)
        • I don't really do ECMAScript. Semantics and Web Accessibility are more my interest. At least that explains things better - good luck with the addition to your family, Shoe.
Manually gathered the data from Contributions (between those dates as I mentioned above) the computer automatically counted it; so literally just a quick copy-and-paste. Of course it doesn't work for the other categories but for: [Most active in the last...] it gave a good indicator.
I can confirm: +Cordovan has distributed my Pet Certificate via in-game mail; several hours before the Server migration. Dywypi (ContribsMessage) 05:14, March 9, 2016 (EST)
