Categorization Guidelines[edit]

Items by effect categorization[edit]

Item pages should be included in the <Effect name> items categories if any of the following criteria is met.

  • Item is always generated with the enchantment (Persistent)
  • Item is sometimes generated with the enchantment (Random)
  • Item can sometimes be upgraded to an item that with the enchantment (Random + Upgrade)
  • Item can have a specific enchantment added as part of a customized crafting process (Crafted)
  • Item is generated without the enchantment, but can have the enchantment after an upgrade (Upgraded)
    • Of note: If the crafting or upgrade process creates a new item, the original item is not considered to meet this criteria
      • Epic crafting and Necropolis Silver Flame/Emerald Claw Nugget upgrades are treated as creating new items
  • Item is part of a single item recipe to create a new item that fits above criteria (Trade-in)

Exceptions / inconsistencies

  • (crafted) Nearly Finished crafting items ARE included in their potential item effect categories
  • (crafted) Dragontouched crafting, Greensteel crafting, Slaver's crafting, and possibly more(?) items ARE NOT included in their potential item effect categories
  • (random) All items that may be generated with the Mythic Boots enchantment ARE included in their potential item effect categories
  • (random) All items that may be generated with the Reaper Power Boost enchantment ARE NOT included in their potential item effect catergories
    • This is likely due to the fact that no logic has been built yet to include these associations
  • (trade-in) Item:Black_Dragon_Scale IS included in the potential item effect categories of the item created
  • (trade-in) Item:Kor Kaza Rune IS included in the potential item effect categories of the item created
  • (trade-in) Item:Shred of Tapestry IS NOT included in the potential item effect categories of the item created
  • (trade-in) Item:Hut Rune IS NOT included in the potential item effect categories of the item created
