Contaminated

Contaminated is a unique debuff applied by Alchemist Poison spells. Contaminated is always applied at a duration of 20 seconds, regardless of source, and further applications merely reset the duration.
Contaminated does not have any effects by itself, and serves instead as a way to trigger effects within the Vile Chemist enhancements tree.

- Vial of Venom
- Vial Smash: Poison
- Venom Concentration
- Greater Venom Vial
- Heartstopper Poison
- Multivial of Poison
- Poison Breath
- The Dragon Disciple spell list also includes Poison Breath. Despite this, they have no way to leverage Contaminated.
- Bombardier enhancements Tier 5: Elemental Obliteration
- Poison version only
- Vile Chemist enhancements Tier 2: Poisoned Attack
- Both Melee and Ranged versions apply Contaminated
- Vile Chemist enhancements Tier 3: Wave of Poison
- Vile Chemist enhancements Tier 5: Greater Wave of Poison
Effects which trigger upon Contaminated enemies[edit]
- Vile Chemist enhancements Tier 3: Toxic Augmentation
- Melee and Ranged attacks against Contaminated targets reduce the target's Fortitude saves by -1 for 6 seconds, stacking up to 4 times
- Vile Chemist enhancements Tier 5: Contaminated Strikes
- Melee and Ranged attacks against Contaminated targets apply one stack of Vulnerable
