Overview

Collectables are found either in "Treasure Bags" dropped by creatures you kill or from the various collectable nodes you find in the game. Collectables are also available in the DDO Store, for example as Collectables Variety Crate.

Treasure Bags are personal instance items: each member of the party can individually loot the same treasure bag for their own item. Once a party member has looted that treasure bag it disappears from their client's instance for that party member. It will remain for other party members until they loot the treasure bag.

Collectables (items with gold borders) can be turned in for prizes at NPC's around Stormreach. When you examine a collectable item, it has the name of the NPC looking for them and how many of the item they want in trade. In the list below, the Quantity column shows that detail. Generally, those that require the most items are common and give the least valuable reward, and those that require the fewest are rare and give the most valuable reward.

Collector NPC's show on the map as a triangle of blue dots. Hover over those to find the NPC you're looking for.

Rewards are shown for each collectable item. Ammunition means 20 quantity of any of the following: Arrows, Bolts, Shurikens, Throwing Daggers, or Throwing Axes.

• As of Mod6, there are new collectables, known as Ingredients
• As of Mod7, some of these collectables can be used as ingredients for Alchemical Eldritch Rituals.
• As of Update 9, some of these collectables can be used as ingredients in Cannith Crafting.
• As of Update 17.1 many collectors now use the Barter Interface UI and sell Augment gems, many old rewards on this page are no longer handed out.
  • Bug: Update 48 saw many augments revamped and made more powerful to match Cannith Crafting values at the same level; however, the text in the barter interface was not updated to match. Tooltips will show the correct, higher, values.
