Cold Bolts

Cold Bolts

Target:Foe, Directional, Breakable
School:Evocation
Spell Resistance:No
Description:Fires ice crystals that damage your enemies. At higher charge levels multiple bolts are rapidly fired. Opponents struck by these crystals receive a Fortitude save for half damage.
Charge Tier I:4 to 10 ​ + 1 to 2 per Artificer Level
Charge Tier II:5 to 15 ​ + 1 to 4 per Artificer Level
Charge Tier III:6 to 20 ​ + 1 to 6 per Artificer Level
Charge Tier IV:7 to 25 ​ + 1 to 8 per Artificer Level
Charge Tier V:8 to 30 ​ + 1 to 10 per Artificer Level

Rune Arm Imbue:

  • Cold I: This Rune Arm shot will imbue any weapon you wield, dealing 1d2 points of cold damage per hit.
  • Cold II: This Rune Arm shot will imbue any weapon you wield, dealing 1d4 points of cold damage per hit.
  • Cold III: This Rune Arm shot will imbue any weapon you wield, dealing 2d4 points of cold damage per hit.
  • Cold IV: This Rune Arm shot will imbue any weapon you wield, dealing 2d6 points of cold damage per hit.
  • Cold V: This Rune Arm shot will imbue any weapon you wield, dealing 2d8 points of cold damage per hit.
  • Cold VI: This Rune Arm shot will imbue any weapon you wield, dealing 2d10 points of cold damage per hit.

Update 38[1] made some changes to how Cold Bolts operate: "Projectiles from Cold Bolt Rune Arms now have homing, and are twice as large."
