Unusual DamageMod/AttackMod Category[edit]

Hi. Is there any category (or page) regarding weapons that use nonstandard stats for Damage Mod and/or Attack Mod, such as the Elyd Edge or the Midnight Greetings (and their respective epic counterparts)? I've searched for it, but haven't found it. I think it would be nice for people looking for weapons for some specific build. I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place or in a wrong way at all.

There currently isn't, and I don't expect there to be for quite some time due to Turbine-DDO changing how weapon mods are calculated...

Would it be that bad if I started such category or listing? There are so many new weapons like this since U13 (like the Envenomed Blade, the Tiefling Assassin's Blade, among others) and I really want to do this, but I don't know exactly how to categorize it. Ok, so Named Weapons. In there, those are categorized by Handedness, Proficiency, Minimum Level, Type, Type (searchable) and Weapon Focus Type. What this one would be? I add two categories named Attack Mod and Damage Mod? Just Attack/Damage Mod? Any help and/or suggestion would be appreciated.

Categories are a very finicky and difficult thing to create on the wiki... I would probably rather you not until you are a Super User which comes after DDO wiki VIP, so that myself and the other admins are comfortable that you understand how the wiki works and how Cat structures work.

Oh, ok. I'll try to start slow and learn how to do all of this before moving into something like Categories... Thanks! But what about a simple listing? Something like The Rare Artificer Scroll List should not be so hard to make and will not tamper with any other articles. Well, anyway, it's just an idea. Thanks (again) for your replies!

Sure, go ahead an make a page... Just don't try to start any new Category trees until you have a strong understanding of how the wiki and Category trees work.. Thank you. Big Grin
