Both old and new loot listed, but don't think the old loot drops.[edit]
Some years ago, tempest spine loot was upgraded. This was done very early on, like somewhere around module2-5.. But given the fact it was the only raid in the game for a while and the loot was unbound, it was run very frequently and many thousands of copies of the items were accumulated.. I also think they were bugged for a while and dropped both versions, but that was likely since fixed. Thus we still have them lying around, but I think most of them no longer drop. Though it's possible both version of some items still drop...
Lets try to confirm whats old versus new, and tag the old versions as no longer dropping. Here's what I've seen drop recently:
To add confusion, they also renamed some items when they upgraded them.
Here's a reference of the name changes:
- Robe of Potency to Robe of Arcane Puissance
- Shining Adamantine Plate to Gleaming Adamantine Plate (I think were the bugged ones that both version still drop of)
- Enchanted Darkleaf Banded Armor to Imbued Darkleaf Banded Armor
