The Augmentation Altar is a Crafting device introduced in Update 72. The Altar is found in the raid Den of Vipers, inside the Temple of Silith-tar, and is used to upgrade loot found in that raid. Upgrades require Hydra Scales, which are found in the end and optional chests of the raid.
