Description: Arlos is the cousin of Guard Tember, and is being kept prisoner by the kobolds of the Gnashtooth clan.

Clan Gnashtooth Prison

Once you find him at a cell, he will ask you:

• Arlos ar-Kerran: Who are you?
  • You: I'm a friend. Your cousin Tember sent me.
    • Arlos ar-Kerran: Good old Tember! Always gettin' Venn and me outta trouble! Arlos grins, but then his smile falters. Venn! You've gotta help him!
      • You: Take it easy, Arlos. I don't know where your brother is. Can you tell me?
        • Arlos ar-Kerran: I think I do, yeah. He got caught before me, by the Worms. I was on my way back to the surface to get help when the Gnashteeth kobbers got me.
        • You: Who are the Worms?
        • Arlos ar-Kerran: Clan Tunnelworm. Another gang o' kobbers, downstream from here. You gotta get him out too!
        • You: All right, I will. But first, let's get you out of here.
          • Arlos ar-Kerran: Thanks—I won't come down here no more, not after this! And be sure to put a sword thorough the kobolds' Bloodletter, if you get the chance. He's down here somewhere, waiting to kill the lot of us!
            • You: Follow me. I've cleared a path for you.
              • Arlos ar-Kerran: Allright... but you best not lead me into trouble. I don't know my way around here. (He starts following you)
      • You: First tell me what the two of you were looking for down here.
        • Arlos ar-Kerran: Dunno. Somethin' big, I know that. Venn wouldn't tell me any more... said it was for my protection. He's the brains, comes up with all the schemes. I don't have the head for it.
        • You: What happened to him, then?
        • Arlos ar-Kerran: Nabbed by Clan Tunnelworm before the Gnashteeth grabbed me. More kobbers, a mean bunch. You gotta find him!
        • You: All right, I will. But first, let's get you out of here. (see above)
  • You: That doesn't matter. I'm here to rescue you.
    • Arlos ar-Kerran: You are? Thanks, friend! Though I'd get my throat cut by the Bloodletter for sure, but here's help instead! Arlos beams at you, then his eyes widen as a thought occurs to him. What about my brother? I'm not going anywhere unless you save Venn too!
      • You: I will, don't worry. But I don't know where he is. Do you? (see above)
      • You: What were you looking for when the kobolds caught you? (see above)

After you free him, if you talk to him again, he will only repeat:

• Arlos ar-Kerran: Are we there yet?
  • You: Come with me if you want to live. (He starts following you)
  • You: Stay here. I'll be back. (He stands ground)
