File:nopic.jpg Past Life: Arcane Trickster You were an Arcane Trickster in a past life. You delight in illusions and have a knack for applying physical force with magic. Each time you acquire this feat you gain +3 Force Spell Power and a +1 bonus to Illusion DCs. This feat can be stacked up to three times.

Past Life: Arcane Trickster is a Free Feat, which means it is permanently added to the character that unlocks it and you won't need to choose it, neither at new life nor at level up.

Arcane Trickster bonus feats[edit]

Arcane Tricksters can select bonus feats at levels 6, 12 & 18 from the following list:

Class feats[edit]

Level 1[edit]

Level 2[edit]

  • Evasion (passive): This feat allows the character to avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If they make a successful reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, they will instead take no damage. A helpless character does not gain the benefit of evasion. Evasion can only be used if the character is wearing light or no armor and is not heavily encumbered.

Level 3[edit]

Level 5[edit]

Level 6[edit]

Level 7[edit]

Level 8[edit]

  • Magical Ambush (passive): Your offensive instantaneous damaging spells deal additional 1d6 force damage per sneak attack dice you have.
    • Scales with 50% of your Force spell power (100% with Arcane Trickster enhancements capstone). This effect scales with Force Critical chance and Critical Damage.
    • Has no internal cooldown. Hits all targets in an AOE, applies to all hits of a multi-strike such as Magic Missile.
      • Magical Ambush applies once per projectile of a spell, per target hit. Magic Missile, which can have up to 5 projectiles, will apply this effect 5 times. Hellball, which fires a single projectile that deals 4 types of damage, only applies the effect once per target.
    • Applies to Eldritch Blast, but not persistent effects such as DOTs or persistent AOEs such as Wall of Fire.
    • Magical Ambush is effectively a Spell Proc.
      • As a Spellpower-scaling Spell Proc, the damage inflicted by Magical Ambush is scaled by any Metamagics applied to the 'host' spell. A Maximized spell will apply Magical Ambush as if you had 150 more Force Spell Power.needs verification

Level 9[edit]

Level 11[edit]

Level 12[edit]

Level 13[edit]

Level 15[edit]

Level 16[edit]

  • Spell Thief (passive): Your melee and missile attacks that strike targets who have spells grant spell points. 1d20 spell points on a 5 second cooldown for melee attacks. Ranged is a 10 second cooldown.

Level 17[edit]

Level 18[edit]

Level 19[edit]

Spells[edit]

  • Arcane Tricksters cast arcane spells from the Arcane Trickster spell list. Like sorcerers, they have only a limited number of spells known and cannot inscribe additional spells.
  • Their spells are affected normally by Arcane Spell Failure. Trickers ignore ASF from light armor (but not shields). They can reduce their ASF chance of heavier armors or shields[Unverified"or shields" has not been verified in-game. Please verify it!] using their tree, up to 15%.
  • Arcane Tricksters get bonus spell points based on their Intelligence score. The minimum Intelligence score needed to cast an Arcane Trickster spell is 10 + the spell’s level.
