Overview
This is a quest-like challenge based on the 10th Anniversary Party introduced with the 20th Anniversary. This is the final version of the Anniversary Party challenge; the new quest introduced with Update 78 for the 20th Anniversary takes its place moving forwards as the quest that receives yearly updates. This challenge remains available during Anniversary Parties to allow people to earn Party Favors to purchase older Anniversary loot.

Known Traps
- Bear traps scattered through the Library (Steelstar's room)
- Bear traps near each of the two randomly placed chests in the Chapterhouse
- A trap with a Control panel in the theater by the inactive switch and wheel (artefact leftover from the original Partycrashers quest, so it can be ignored)
Tips and Misc
- This final iteration of the Anniversary Dungeon is effectively identical to the new layout introduced in the 19th Anniversary, save that +Cordovan's challenge, which previously changed year-on-year to reflect that year's content, now simply features three Fractious Ogres as backup trash.
- As per general challenge rules, a party should be formed of players within 3 levels of each other to prevent XP/challenge ingredient reward penalties
- The entrance to the Chapterhouse is directly behind Harbormaster Zin, but only appears after you talk to him. To find Zin, go left (east) after leaving the entry foyer.
- For expediency, the party can split up:
- One or two players zerg through the Chapterhouse (either by killing everything along the way, or by stealth using invisibility; however, this latter method sometimes fails, especially around/above the skeletons under the Stage area.) Note that there are also some levers that need to be pulled along the way to open gates, so some combat will likely be necessary.
- There are 2 levers and a gate that need to be opened (which will break normal invisibility).
- Many of the mobs can be outrun, especially when you change levels, but keep an eye on dungeon alert.
- Kobold Casters do not seem to pursue at all. They will hit you with some nasty spells if you stay in range for too long though.
- Under the stage, you only need to jump down and go left, grab the Silver Key (opens the final gate) and then jump back on the ladder without fighting the mobs under the stage.
- It's recommended to ignoring the chests in the Chapterhouse as they only seemed to contain vendor trash and become ransacked anyway (but any random location chest has its own ransack counter). Many, many pulls from the End Chest only yielded vendor trash, so that is optional as well.

- Meanwhile, the other players tackle the Devs:
- +Severlin with his comrade +Torc (a rust monster) are located in the Art Gallery, upstairs from the northern Ball Room. It is not necessary to defeat +Torc or the undead skeleton minions; you only need to defeat +Severlin for the objective.
- Step into the room with +Severlin until he activates and then pull back around a corner before +Torc detects you.
- You can then slay +Severlin and leave the room if you wish.
- +Convallaria, an NPC in this area, is the only NPC in this challenge that continues to receive regular updates, as her dialogue changes year-on-year with a selection of new coded messages for players to uncover. To avoid needing to overhaul this page every year with her new codes, the solutions are now listed on her own page.
- +Severlin with his comrade +Torc (a rust monster) are located in the Art Gallery, upstairs from the northern Ball Room. It is not necessary to defeat +Torc or the undead skeleton minions; you only need to defeat +Severlin for the objective.
- Meanwhile, the other players tackle the Devs:
- +Cordovan is located in the Sculpture Hall, upstairs from the southeast Dining Room. Once aggroed, he summons three Ogres to back him up.
- +Steelstar is in the Library Archives, at the back of the southeast Dining Room. His Fey Hunt Hounds seem to have become a permanent fixture - each of the six possible hounds is a boss in its own right, and defeating it will award an extra point, which is worth extra Party Favors when the quest is completed.
- +Steelstar selects a random hound from a list of six each time. Beware the Brilliant Hound, which greatly increases the damage of his electric spells, and the Kinetic Hound, which deals more damage than the other hounds. Warforged characters should also approach the Decay Hound with caution.
- At half health, +Steelstar disappears to check... something, teleporting randomly to somewhere else within the room. He'll then nip off for a coffee break when you reduce him to 5% HP, healing to full.
- The Avatar of +Kintani, an enormous Black Dragonborn, is located randomly in one of the Private Rooms.
- +Flimsy Firewood, an orange-named Scarecrow, will also be found in one of the rooms. Once more, only the Avatar needs to be killed, not +Flimsy Firewood or any of his undead minions.
- As per the Partycrashers quest, the toilet paper rolls in the restrooms function as shrines (so you do not need to worry about wiping).
- The Avatar of +Kintani, an enormous Black Dragonborn, is located randomly in one of the Private Rooms.
- The Anniversary Party is a great source for collectables (primarily Lore, Arcane, and Herb); the tier of collectables you get from certain nodes in this challenge scale depending on the CR.
- After confronting Jeets in the throne room (at the end of the Chapterhouse path), one player needs to request the assistance of Malicia to advance. The Knockback door to the north of Malicia becomes active as a shortcut back to the throne room. Malicia will be there next to Jeets to send you into his demented mind to confront the Dark Overlord.
- Make sure to kill all of the Devs before heading into his mind for full rewards!
- Speak to Jeets in the final battle to initiate combat. If you're not interested in the end chest (purely random loot), you can avoid fighting the Animated Objects and Quori he summons by pulling towards the north wall and recalling after completing the challenge. (This will also make the battle easier if you are after the end chest - note that the monsters will still spawn when you run to the chest after completion.)
- Cameo appearances by others +people as NPC Party Guests:
Rewards
This quest offers special Anniversary rewards, Party Favors. Here's a List of rewards for turning in Party Favors to Tolero.
The quest offers a base maximum of 9 Party Favors for a 5-star completion, as +Steelstar's Hound companion awards an extra point if killed.
Anniversary Party CR Relative to the highest level party member:
- At-level: 9 Party Favors
- +1 (or +2) levels above: 10 Party Favors
- +3 (or +4) levels above: 12 Party Favors
- +5 (or more) levels above: 13 Favors (the maximum)
Running the quest at a CR below the level of the highest level member will result in fewer Favors, but as this is an intentionally "easy" quest, that is not recommended, except perhaps solo.
During bonus weekends, the bonus is rounded down. So, running at 5 levels above during a +30% bonus gains {13 + 3.9} = {13 + 3} = 16 favors.
Aside from Collectables and drop-loot Minimum Level, there is no reason to run the quest at +2, +4, or more than +5 above the level of the highest level character in the group, as no additional Party Favors will be awarded. However, you can earn a very nice first-time XP award for a 5 star run, so it is recommended that your first run of the Anniversary Party challenge should be at the highest CR that you can manage within your group. At epic, level 20 characters can get full experience with level 30 characters in group without overleveling penalty, and will award ~120k XP at CR35 for a 5-star run (only with the first-time bonus though).
