Overview[edit]

These battle worn bards focus on boosting combat ability and are able to enhance the damage output and physical defenses of allies.

Bard Warchanter I[edit]

  • Usage: Passive
  • Cost: 4 action points
  • Progression: 16 action points
  • Requires One of: Weapon Focus: Bludgeoning Weapons, Weapon Focus: Piercing Weapons, Weapon Focus: Slashing Weapons
  • Requires All of: Power Attack, Bard Inspired Attack I, Bard Inspired Damage I, Bard Inspired Bravery II
  • Available to Bard class level 6
  • Your studies into war have granted you a +2 bonus to your Intimidate skill. Your Inspire Courage song gains an additional +1 to attack rolls, +2 to damage rolls, and +1 to fear saves. If you possess the Barbarian Rage ability, you gain +1 use per rest. You also gain the ability to expend a use of Bardic Music to grant all nearby allies damage reduction 5/-.

Ironskin Chant[edit]

  • Grants DR 5/- to all nearby allies for 60 seconds plus 6 seconds per Caster level. Consumes one bardic music. Note: Wizards using Shroud of the Zombie from Pale Master enhancements are immune to this effect.

Bard Warchanter II[edit]

  • Usage: Passive
  • Cost: 2 action points
  • Progression: 42 action points
  • Requires All of: Bard Warchanter I, Bard Inspired Attack II, Bard Inspired Damage II, Bard Inspired Bravery III
  • Available to Bard class level 12
  • Benefit: Your further studies into war have granted you another +2 bonus to your Intimidate skill, for a total of +4. You have also grown more resilient, gaining +10 maximum hit points, gain medium armor proficiency (And the ability to cast arcane spells in medium armor without arcane spell failure.), and gain access to purchase a single martial weapon proficiency you possess Weapon Focus in for 1 action point. If you possess the Barbarian Rage ability, you gain an additional +1 use per rest (+2 total). You also gain the ability to expend a use of Bardic Music to grant all nearby allies a 5% to perform a double strike, at the cost of 10% fortification, or to produce a short duration non-magical mass Greater Heroism effect.

Song of Heroism[edit]

  • Benefit: Expend a use of Bardic Music to give the effects of the Greater Heroism spell to all nearby allies for 1 minute plus 6 seconds per Caster level. As a non-magical effect, this song cannot be removed by dispel magic or antimagic.

Warchanter Weapon Training[edit]

  • Usage: Passive
  • Cost: 1 action points
  • Progression: 43 action points
  • Requires All of: Bard Warchanter II, Weapon Focus: <Weapon>
  • Available to Bard class level 12
  • Benefit: Grants martial weapon proficiency with <Weapon>. This enhancement is available for all martial weapons that Bards are not proficient in, but may only be taken for one weapon: Battleaxe, Falchion, Greataxe, Greatclub, Greatsword, Handaxe, Heavy Pick, Kukri, Light Hammer, Light Pick, Longbow, Maul, Scimitar, Throwing Axe, Throwing Hammer, Warhammer, Dwarven Waraxe (Dwarves only).
