Vicala Szind
Fool! You think you can escape sacrifice?
You cannot flee Lolth's divine might! Die like a proper sacrifice!
Monster Manual classification: Drow
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Boss: Red Named - Quest Boss
CR: ●♦25Epic Normal ●♥29Epic Hard ●♠46Epic Elite
Attack: Known Spells: Unholy Blight, Flame Strike, Symbol of Pain, Divine Punishment, Cometfall, Chaos Hammer, Greater Command
Special Qualities: Drow qualities, Cleric spellcaster, has continuous See Invisibility. Can sacrifice any nearby creature to regain full health and gain Favored of the Goddess (having performed a sacrifice to the Goddess, you have increased spell damage, greatly improved resistances to incoming damage, and an incredible boost to spell resistance) for 30 seconds. Immunity to Negative Energy (Epic Elite)
Habitat:
Description: Drow Priestess quest boss. Will try to kill any hostages she sees escaping. If you try to fight her directly without clearing the rest of the house, she will will sacrifice every Drow and hostage in the house before she can be killed (except her spider pet). The Priestess' walk pattern is from the cellar to end of the upper hall and back. She will not aggro on players in the upper rooms if they are away from the doors. The Priestess will only appear on your map as a red box on Casual and Normal difficulties; on Hard and Elite you must rely on the "nearby sound" warnings, making the final optional (and the bonus chest) painstakingly difficult and irritating to attain if you choose not to time her movements and exploit her behavior (and those of the hostages).
