Welcome to my userpage![edit]

I am pkthis. I am a bit of a casual player of Dungeons and Dragons Online since its subtitle was stormreach! A lot has changed since then and now, but only very slowly. Perhaps you require my aid, or need special help with something? If you do, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. I can't do everything, and im far from a miracle worker, but perhaps I may be able to get something of value for the wikia. Or perhaps not, I have been known to fall short on expectations. But either way, I look forward to making the wiki a better place, which, sadly, is more than I can say for DDO's own wiki. What a joke!

A brief history of my DDO gameplay[edit]

I started on and off back when the game was known as Stormreach. Back when the marketplace tent wasn't blown away, back when the city of stormreach was zoned out and required the completions of different quests (Smugglers port tutorial, waterworks), back when times were pretty much tough. I never played any of the D&D games before this, so I really screwed my characters up because I didn't know how to make them, really. I did, at one point, have a VIP membership on a account I made a while back, but it lasted only for one month. It was years before I reconsidered playing DDO, and when I visited the site, the news I heard just dropped my jaw: Free to Play!

After participating in the beta, and getting over some lost progress, I began playing the game again when it was released as F2P. As I had at least one month of membership before it was F2P, I already had P2P perks. Ever since the game was released, it has been a wild roller coaster ride: The game can take you to such great heights, but then you come across some horrible drops that scar you for life because of crappy bugs and game design. DDO is a really promising game that isn't like other MMORPG's, but is PLAGUED by god-awful bugs and design. If it wasn't for that, I would actually drop some money for this game instead of just grinding out Turbine Points. And yes, I am a freeloader of this game, I haven't spent a single penny on it since my VIP membership so very long ago.

Today, I reside on the Argonnessen server, playing around with my old characters. I used to be on the Cannith server but after a couple years, I just stopped. I HAD to give up so much because the server was just empty: I couldn't find a damn thing to do because of the empty LFG's and lack of players! But Argonnessen is better at what it does: It doesn't meet my every requirement, but its better than Cannith.

My DDO gamestyle[edit]

I don't like complicated builds. Paladins, Rangers, and Favored Souls are all classes I hate to play. I never was into fighters and barbarians, but I can tolerate them more than the previously mentioned classes. Funny enough, some of the classes that made the best progress, yet wasn't always the most powerful or fun were clerics. I prefer classes that just have two main stats; I hate distributing stats because of the demand for min-max builds.

Im not REALLY skilled, and I rarely use voice because I prefer to remain anonymous, but I am good when nobody is bossing me around like a tool, the game isn't giving us BS, and there's nothing overly complicated. While there was one time when I did hit the cap limit for platinum (That was when you could sell greater dowsing rods), my characters usually dont have much plat. I HATE leading. I don't like having the leader star at all, unless its something like low-level content or stuff I really know. This is due to some real-life mental conditions that make me very anxious to take the leadership. People don't understand it for some reason. But regardless, never hand me the star.

I usually play on what some would call the Eastern Time Zone. Its located in the United States.
