Welcome to the Update 27 Patch 1 Hotfix Release Notes for Dungeons & Dragons Online! These notes were posted on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.

News and Notes[edit]

Combat[edit]

  • Melee and Ranged Power now work properly when they are brought into negative numbers. For example, -50 Melee Power now means you deal 100/150, or 2/3rd, or 66% less damage based on our standard Negative Melee Power formula of 100 / (100 - Power). -100 Melee Power means you deal half damage, etc.

Enhancements[edit]

  • Fixed an issue that caused the Warlock Soul Eater's Strickened Soul enhancement reduce Melee, Ranged, and Spell Power by far more than described.
  • Soul Eater's Inhuman Nature now increases Consume and Stricken damage by the proper amount.

Hirelings[edit]

Items[edit]

  • Fixed an issue that could cause characters to get multiple copies of certain effects, causing "lag" when that character was examined.

Quests and Adventure Areas[edit]

Extended downtime[edit]

The downtime for this hotfix was scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 8-11AM (EDT -400). The hotfix was applied and the servers were back up for game play at just before 10AM EDT. Within a matter of minutes, it was discovered that players tomes were not being applied and were missing. The game worlds were brought back down to fix the issue and the downtime was extended until about 10PM EDT.
