The Pit: 1st Furnace: Disabling traps
You can turn off the acid sprays on the catwalk by taking a right onto the first pipe you pass on the catwalk. Simply dodge the acid sprays to reach the valve at the other end, then turn it.
There is a similar valve accessible by leaping from the end of the 2nd pipe you pass. A puff of air trap will knock you off this pipe. To bypass it, wait until a puff dissipates entirely, then immediately run past to the end of the pipe. Jump onto the pipe to the right to reach the valve. This valve disables the traps blocking access to the pipe at the end of the catwalk, which at least one party member must traverse to continue toward the goal here.
