Zawabi's Refuge

This area is the hub for the Demon Sands adventure pack. It can be accessed by taking the quest Desert Caravan at least once from Iosynne d'Phiarlan in House Phiarlan (level 8 is required for the quest), or simply by talking to wayfinder Kupper-Nickel in the northern part of the Marketplace. It has a unique al fresco tavern, Raff's Watering Hole.
Access to Zawabi's Refuge does not have a minimum character level requirement, although this area is recommended for level 8 and higher.

- * These 3 quests must be completed, on any difficulty and in any order, and then the reward items** turned in to Zawabi the Elder Djinni, to qualify for the pre-raid quest Against the Demon Queen, and the subsequent raid Zawabi's Revenge. The pre-raid quest can be red-doored (entered if other party members have flagged for the quest), but the final raid cannot be entered if all 4 of the previous quests have not been properly completed and turned in. This needs to be done once per life - you can skip the first three quests on subsequent lives by storing extra copies of the items. As of Update 50, you only need to run Against the Demon Queen once per life; after this, Zawabi's Revenge can be repeated on its own.
- ** These 3 items are: for An Offering of Blood, the Blessed Blood Offering; for Chains of Flames, the Orb of the Efreet; and for The Chamber of Raiyum, the Phylactery of Raiyum. Do not discard these items if you intend to proceed to the pre-raid and then the raid, as they must be turned in to advance the chain!

Wilderness Adventure Area[edit]
Sands of Menechtarun, a huge area that offers Explorer and Rare Encounters quests, 3 Slayer quests, several walk-up quests and the Demon Queen Raid. Character level 8 required to enter this zone. Characters from levels 8 through 15 earn full XP rewards.
