Forums links[edit]

The bug proofs link back to the old DDO forums, which give 404's. Ulsio (ContribsMessage) 15:32, May 25, 2016 (EDT)

  • Resolved. I converted the links to use {{Forums}}. — Zav(T·C) 15:36, May 25, 2016 (EDT)

Bug fixed?[edit]

I just killed four opponents in a 360-degree arc with one swing of a quarterstaff. That would suggest the bug has been fixed. Can anyone confirm or deny? Hoopy Froodle (ContribsMessage) 16:01, December 28, 2016 (EST)

I replaced the "bug" report with a note describing the added benefit for unarmed attacks. I can't see calling it a bug when its behavior matches its description. The delay is comparable to that for Cleave or Great Cleave. Hoopy Froodle (ContribsMessage) 22:29, January 31, 2017 (EST)
I have never played much with Whirlwind and weapons, but I thought the problem was that with weapon attacks, you did a fairly long animation that looked like two sweeping attacks (significantly longer than Cleave for example), but you dealt damage only once, making it 1) not useful from DPS perspective, 2) optically misleading. I recall people mentioning fairly long delay after the animation finished and before you can start attacking again. However, all this was before the recent change related to Monks, not sure if it changed the feat for other weapon types as well. --Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 03:16, February 1, 2017 (EST)
