Wow! That table is super confusing.. Is there anyway you can simplify it any?

- Not that I could think of. It is just a fairly complex mechanic. Suggestions?

- It's the external dynamic image pulled from the forums. Since it is an external image, I cannot control the size, however, I'll like change it to the smaller forum image soon.. Haven't gone to pull it yet.

- I think this smaller image is better.. Anyways.. Back to the point at hand. I'm thinking instead of the entire table being displayed in a big long list, perhaps a smaller table showing yesterday, today, tomorrow, and the next two days? It's not that complicated to figure out mathematically which cycle we are on (38) (Not that we would need it with this method, except maybe for the div box I'll describe below), which set (9), or which day of the set (1). Using this math along with the loops extension, I don't see why we can't do this.. Then, in it's own sub-heading, we could put a single entire cycle in a scrolling div box that only displays six rows at a time (half a set). I'm going to take that long table and try to put it in the div now, what do you think about the other part?

- I'd think at least extend it for a full week, not just today and the next three days - a full today through week-from-yesterday. And the smaller image is still kinda annoying, I'd hate to see it on too many talk pages (especially one like the Item discussion...) - and I'd really dislike seeing it on, say, a ppoi LOL LrdSlvrhnd (Contributions • Message) 00:24, April 13, 2012 (EDT)
- Sigh, fine, I won't use it. *Cries* I've done the second half of it. The half a set scrolling div table, and I think it makes the page look much cleaner and less distracting. I'm sure someone could come in and clean up the table / div borders and make it look like a single table instead of a nested table as-well... - Ok, I'll put the condensed version in a subsection on this page for now... I have a 27" LCD widescreen running at 1920×1200 and the full 120 lines of table still take up four full pages. This makes it very hard to sort through and distracting to the eyes to find what I want.. This will become worse when the table for yesterday - a week through yesterday is complete and I add the extra column for when said token will be available next. - Yes, and it has been properly added as a history page. Deprecation is reserved for templates that have been superseded by newer more accurate and up-to-date versions, not for standard pages.

There will be a separate table above that will list yesterdays ⇒ week from yesterdays tokens, and when that token will become available next if you miss that day. I was also thinking a two - four row by 12 - 6 column table that shows all 12 tokens and the next available date. This table will simply be a reference of how the system works for the 1 in 40 people that cares to understand the mechanic, and has no purpose being sortable since that changes the pattern. -

- The Scroll bar is on the far right of the screen. The nested table idea just looks god-awful and is not all that practical. This will also allow for adding the image of the collectible. The way you have the colors just looks beyond simple. And might I suggest combining Challenge Group and Challenge Name. When sorting the combined Challenge from my original table, it just seemed to make more sense to have it that way. That is 1 less cell that the end user will have to look at. - I set it with the nested tables so that the headers would never move. I agree that Challenge Group: Challenge Name would make more sense and have it one column. - I completely understand what you are trying to accomplish here, but you have to understand that wiki's are somewhat limited in what they can do and still remain 'Wikified'. The whole point of a wiki is to keep things simple, and you are trying to over-complicate this simple task. The data is there, it's sort-able, doesn't take up 10,000 pixels of vertical space, and is rather conforming to the rest of the page's style. Something like what you are asking for is really not an easy task to do outside of a wiki, that's why nobody does it. The only place I can even think that offers that is Google's online spreadsheet app. I am pretty sure that I haven't seen that in a long time. And for good reason. The solution that I offered you is about the best you are going to be able to get. And personally I think that is an extremely viable and good looking solution to what you want. You asked for my help and this is what i have to help you with. I have too much RL stuff going on to sit here and hand code every little tweak you want done.

I was just thinking that the name of this page should be at very least Vaults of the Artificers/Daily Challenge Token schedule if not Vaults of the Artificers/daily challenge token schedule if it was to be consistent with our Naming Policy.
