  • Turn undead in the altar.

Verified that part and it will make all undead that Spawn in that room and are still inside it ( aka, not chasing you in a previous hall or in the chest room) subject to your turn atempt.

However, monsters pulled from previous parts of the quest are NOT afected by the turn of the altar, Unless of course, they are close enough to you to be afected by your normal turn. Sforza (ContributionsMessage) 13:22, March 13, 2015 (EDT)

Hirelings[edit]

Regarding "You can use this technique if you have a small group with hirelings or pets." I'm not sure this is possible with the current AI for hirelings. I tried it today and they just stood there. No amount of toggling options had them act on the order to use the switch. Niminae (ContribsMessage) 02:02, August 30, 2015 (EDT)

  • Just ran this with a guildie yesterday (2-man it) with 2 hirelings and it seemed to work just fine parking the hirelings there. Maybe next time try dismissing and re-summoning the hireling? -- Ague (Talk · Contribs · B · D · I · P · PM · PP · UM · UR) 06:14, August 30, 2015 (EDT)
    • There's no problem with parking the hirelings on the pressure plates. The issue is that the hirelings would not respond to the Interact (gear) order to activate the switch on the right hand side. Dismissing and resummoning at this point is not a solution since the way back is now locked and resummoning will bring the hirelings to you. • Can that confirm, as of 2020, that the strategy of parking a hireling on the right side while you go through the left, then command the hireling to interact with the lever on the lower floor (while its "stand ground" toggle was still engaged), DOES indeed work.
