I thought Jeanselme Brucetius gave a tiny ing bag now.. idr for sure.. ShoeMaker 09:11, January 6, 2012 (EST)

Here's the history:
  • She first gave a BTC 12-slot Exclusive "Small Ingredients Bag". She was the only source of this bag at the time. You could buy unbound 30-slot Exclusive "Medium Ingredients Bags" from House P/J General Vendors. So, with one of each you could hold 42 types of ingredients in 2 backpack slots.
  • Update 9 renamed the 12-slot "Small Ingredients Bag" to "Tiny Ingredients Bag" and 30-slot "Medium Ingredients Bag" to "Small Ingredients Bag" (and created a new DDO-Store-only 45-slot "Medium Ingredients Bag", along with new "Extra-Large", "Huge", and "Gargantuan" store-only bags). Note that your bags just changed names, they still held the same amount. A new character could still carry 42 types by getting the free "Tiny Ingredients Bag" and buying a "Small Ingredients Bag".
  • Update 9.1 changed Jeanselme Brucetius to give out an unbound 30-slot Exclusive "Small Ingredients Bag", same as can be purchased from the Vendors (and since both are Exclusive, she silently fails to give you one if you already have one on you when you pick that chat option). At this point, new characters had no way to obtain a 12-slot Exclusive "Tiny Ingredients Bag", lowering the freely available ingredients storage to 30 types in 1 backpack slot.
  • Update 10.1 changed all 12-slot Exclusive "Tiny Ingredients Bags" to non-Exclusive (but still BTC), and added 3 Fabricators Guild representatives (Maker in the Crafting Hall, Felix d'Cannith in The Harbor, or Vertigo in The Marketplace) which will give each player character a free BTC 12-slot non-Exclusive "Tiny Ingredients Bag". They only give out bag out (doesn't matter which representative you speak to), and will replace that single bag if you trash it. If you already had a "Tiny Ingredients Bag" before they were introduced, you can still get one from them (ending up with 2). You can also get another one each time you TR. Since they are not Exclusive any more, you can carry them all on you at the same time. This increased the freely-available ingredients storage back up to 42 types in 2 backpack slots for brand-new characters, and more for older/TR characters. Backley 13:49, January 6, 2012 (EST)

Step 6[edit]

Does this step even belong on this page? Receiving a small ing bag from favor has nothing to do with flagging/the story arc. -LrdSlvrhnd (ContribsMessage) 21:45, October 11, 2017 (EDT)

  • Step 6 isn't "just" about receiving the bag. It's about receiving the favor rank which is required to progress the flagging/story arc. The information about bag purchases might not be needed, but the step is required and part of the step is getting a bag (or not if you have one in your inventory). Eldritch Device Tutorial gone ?[edit]

There is a link within this page going to a page called "Eldritch Device Tutorial", huwever, this link *always* go to this page here ! Therefore this is a circle link (I call it that).

If there ever was a page called "Eldritch Device Turotial", then it cannot be reached anymore. Which is in my opinion a huge problem, since Newbies won't be able to understand what this Eldritch Crafting is about - it should be explained within the Wiki, imho, too.
