A group of friends and I are planning to test out DDO using the 10 day trial. We would like to start out on the same day and do our adventuring together, but we were concerned about the starting locations (some MMO's start you out in a different town based on your race). SO my question is this: does everyone start out at the same location in this game, or are you spread out based on race, class, or something else?

- every charactor starts at the same place, khorthos beach, so you can pick whatever you want without worrying. module 8, latest update of the game did entire revamp to the newbie island, and yea sry this wiki dosent have much info bout that just yet. just finish up the Grotto tutorial, which is solo-only so you can start grouping with your friends. check around the village, find weavecrest tavern and ask the tavernkeep for job etc etc...
