So no one knows how to take that barrier down?

No. from whats been said, its a leftover from Steal the Healing Elixir quest that devs didnt remove from the game. Sef326 03:58, November 10, 2009 (EST)

dudes, maybe you can help me out. there obviously is a hidden door on the west side of the room where hayton stands. you can see the room start on the map. it shows the usual path of the puzzles (like in the end of stopping the suhuagin [sry for misspelling :D] quest) on this wand. the "energy path" of this puzzle leads out of the room. anyone managed to open that door yet? you can see it on this pic too Redemption_Map.jpg.jpeg --212.17.83.64 23:12, October 9, 2010 (EDT)

From what I can remember, you could have bypassed the initial barrier by climbing the boxes to a ladder, and taking the tunnel above, then dropping in above Heyton's work station. However, since they moved all this from the old-harbor (now the Inspired Quarter) to Korthos, it must have caused some unforeseen scripting event issues and re-worked the quest so it must only be completed the one and only way. The laddered tunnel is now blocked by a permanent force field. You can also still see the hatch above Heyton's work area. --- Taurolyon 02:23, October 10, 2010 (EDT) (founder player since Beta)
