Just run on hard (12th March, 2011) and there was NO need to kill the ritualists the same time. In fact we killed 2 within 10 seconds then the 3rd one about 5-7 minutes later. After killing the last we could face the Marilith, there was no respawning. [94.21.18.240]
- Running it on normal seems to allow you to kill them as you please, running on hard or elite seems to require a synchronized kill Neouni 06:33, March 12, 2011 (EST)
- You have to kill them simultaneously only on elite difficulty. I ran the quest on hard 10 minutes ago, I killed the ritualists one at a time at 5-7 minutes intervals and they didn't respawn. by Mjoll 08:44, March 12, 2011 (EST)
- (update after running on Hard on 10/9/12): Things may have changed since the below "Strategy for Elite" was written where it states "Only on elite; on other difficulties she only activates once all three Cursed Ritualist are dead". All four times on Hard after stepping out where Aurora the Wicked could barely see us she announced something like "...I will take care of this myself..." and chased us all over the dungeon. As a level 20 cleric I was able to complete it by myself with my Onyx Panther hireling (on Defensive only) by having my Panther intimidate and then follow me using mainly my Radiant Savant Aura & Renewal to keep Panther Healed. I was able to down each Ritualist individually in their spawn locations and then killed Aurora near the spawn location of the last Ritualist we killed.
