I would like to add stats for the Epic Skirmisher's Boots, but I can't figure out where the page is to edit it. The Lines of Supply page seems to reference another page "Category:Lines of Supply reward item", but maybe I don't have permissions to see/access it? → Bollwerk (ContributionsMessage) 17:20, October 9, 2013 (EDT)

  1. go to Lines of Supply
  2. click Edit
  3. scroll to the very bottom
  4. go to the Lines of Supply loot  article or directly click the Edit link in parentheses--Cru121 (ContributionsMessage) 06:26, October 10, 2013 (EDT)
  • Thanks! That worked, but I noticed that the values of 45 for resist don't have a correct category in the elemental resist "template" (https://ddowiki.com/edit/Template:Res), so they now read as "Unknown Cold Resist" rather than "Cold Resist 45" for example. I went to the appropriate page to try and edit, but it was way too confusing for me to make heads or tails of.
Made some small changes to the template to accept 40 and 45, this template is actually waiting to need a major overhaul if this powercreep keeps going on. Better to set it up to feed it all arguments as is, instead of an index.→ Neouni (ContributionsMessage) 15:42, October 12, 2013 (EDT)

Is this actually a good way to do this? Quest template using the unique parameter to include the category page for "Quest Name loot" which has its content duplicating everything that's in the category? Seems awfully convoluted. It's also the very thing that DPL is intended to do. A Dpl query for items in category QuestName in namespace Item will give the same tables without needing to maintain the category page's content. The Item's pages will just need a category for the Questname, instead of Questname Loot. This system can also be readily adapted for monsters, collectibles, etc. SysteRn (ContributionsMessage) 19:04, January 10, 2014 (EST)
