New guild article template

Would like to consider using Template:Guild as the preloading template for new guilds. - Highway 16:30, December 27, 2006 (EST)

Too long listing

The guild listing is way too long, specially as its the first thing you see. this kind of listing would owrk for "list all guilds" but not as entry listing. Break down the guilds per servers for entry page that would lead to page having list of all guilds on that specific server. BlackSmith 08:18, July 24, 2007 (EDT)

Too agressive guild editing.

If guild can't put up their stats & story in a way that looks like them, it does temptate to use these pages either. If all guild pages look like excel charts, i rather skip to some more fluent and not-so-wrist-tided-up site like GuildUniverse. Besides, if the guild's page is hard to read or cryptic, its their loose not ddo.wiki's. BlackSmith 15:24, July 26, 2007 (EDT)

Add something.PNG as guild's coat of arms/picture.

He's asking what you mean by coat of arms, in relation to your guild. Is there a feature in DDO to create a coat of arms for your guild, or is this something that is unique to your guild and solely to your guild? elliottcable (talk, site) 21:10, July 27, 2007 (EDT)

Well, I'm more asking if that's very common, because I've been in only in a guild, and that guild is mine so I don't know about it. Never heard of coat or arms, so yeah, I'm asking if it is unique to your guild. Borror0 21:23, July 27, 2007 (EDT)

Ok, rephase. "It would be nice if the guild pages would have (PNG) image place for the guilds banner/cape/carnial/coat of arms/torc/sign/image-representing-the-guild in upper right corner, just like you can have a picture about your character displayed." Inactive leadership...

Backley (talk) and myself have both made post to the forum to try and clear up and get some accurate information on this topic.. hes trying to motivate people to post guild article on the Compendium, not on this DDOwiki, i think? his guild page is well done but said template used on that WILL BE DESTRIYED by a clueless user sooner or later like many times happened before, since its not edit-locked nor maintained by anybody. i myself tried to fix some of the mess before [1] [2] [3] but oh well what can i say. i ended up doing page of my guild (at the time) without using any template. if you are reading this Uurlock, i highly recommend doing your page that way, though server board guild section is much much better bet to get attention IMO. btw category bleeding on the Compendium guild section is absolutely horrendous too... --yoko5000 (Contributions • Message) 03:28, February 7, 2013 (EST)
