Table misleading[edit]

Tables a bit missleading in its formating. EG: Effect added collum doesnt really work, because the upgrades dont just add effects.. They remove effects too.

EG: Incite +30% added, implies the item would have +20% and +30% incite, netting you at least +50% hate. But thats no the case, the 20% is removed when the 30% is added.

So it needs to be cleaned up somehow, either a new colum, or just change the Effect added to Upgrade effects.

How about now? Added few columns. Upgraded Item column can be used to link to the Upgraded item page if or when they are made or we can just toss the last column. Bladedge 14:59, December 11, 2011 (EST)

Dont think the pop up is Appropriate[edit]

Not a fan of using pop ups on the main articles page that is trying to directly display all the information and not hide it. Could understand using it as a preview on long list like challenge items, and item enhancements but not the only main area where the info is at Bladedge 00:48, March 26, 2012 (EDT)

I would agree if not for the fact that it is just a description image of an item not on it's own personal page. As you can see, the fountain is not a popup image, but the description image for the seal is because not seeing it does not take anything away from the reader if they happen not to find the popup. Problem with a lot of your pop-ups is absolute zero indication of if they even exist, or what/where the are. It's like your just hidding east eggs all over the site. 99% of users aren't gona ever see it, so it seems like not only a waste of what was there, but a waste of your own talents too.

Could improve it with what is a fairly standard html usage for indicating there is some mouse over text: the <abbr> tag. it adds little dots under the title, so it doesn't quite look like a link, but theres something there to mouse over. Most browsers also understand it, and use the help cursor automatically, which I like.

It's also a wiki standard, as it's frequently used on most wikis on the recent changes page for the little icons like m, b, etc. Ours doesnt seem to show it, but it uses the same html code as it does change the cursor the same. EG: [1]

Still its the only source of the information and its being hidden. When there is a page for then I can understand there being a popup. And at the moment most Ingredients and collectables which get place on there on page becomes neglected when there are any changes , look at green steel, Alchemical, dreamforge etc. Bladedge 01:11, March 26, 2012 (EDT)
I don't see any reason why to not put some notifier, notifier, notifier, or notifier on pop-ups. I just never thought of it because my pop-ups are all based on the original that didn't have any notifiers. ShoeMaker (ContributionsMessage) 01:40, March 26, 2012 (EDT)
