Talk:Fortification

Fortification can also be found as a suffix on armor and shields, which is not clear from the page (which lists only belts and rings. I'm not sure how to fix that given the way the page uses the clothing enhancements template.

Higher fort bypass than listed[edit]

I was playing a warlock with 142% fortification at level 13, and I got critted in Oath of Vengeance R1. Bolded number over my head, checked the combat log afterwards.

  • (Combat): Phantom Archer critically hit you for 65 points of pierce damage.

That's at least 43% fortification bypass, which is much higher than their CR 16. 178.232.45.208 (Message • Block • Check) 13:24, March 19, 2023 (EDT)

  • (Combat): Khyber Hezrou critically hit you for 426 points of bludgeon damage.

The Spinner of Shadows Epic R1, 195% fortification, CR 30 Hezrou, level 22 character. Maybe it's a result of a Champion ability? Seems to be more fortification bypass of some kind going around, since the main article at present says monsters only get their CR in percent. 178.232.26.237 (Message • Block • Check) 18:04, March 25, 2023 (EDT)
