Can someone add a favicon to the wiki? It would help a great deal for bookmark management. Thehiggins (Contributions • Message) 16:48, September 12, 2012 (EDT)

I think the biggest concern might be finding an unlicensed image for this... If you want to create one, post it to the site, request approval of it, and it gets approved by a majority of the voting members without veto from administrators; I'll be happy to forward it on the the host of the site and have him implement it. This is current DDO icon: . Perhaps if you PMed Tolero or Cordovan asking them whether we can use it, and if you got an approval, we could do something. bleh whatever you do, NOT the same favicon turbine uses for ddo forum/ddo official sites please. 90% of time looking at the wiki I have ddo forum page too on my browser. makes it extreamly harder to tell which tab is which. yoko5000 (Contributions • Message) 11:40, September 13, 2012 (EDT)

We don't need anything fancy, but I would like something that will dignify both DDO and DDOwiki. As an example, I whipped this up. . They look good!
The JPGs suffer some compression pixelation. This will be even more visible when scaled. Could you redo the violet/cyan examples in PNG and upload them to the wiki so we can post them with scaling to see how they'd look? We can't scale off-site images.

Those look good, and I know the different colors would definitely help with the mess of tabs I usually have going on. However, since most people who are colorblind are either red-green colorblind or yellow-blue colorblind, I suggest going with the either the blue or a purple. It's distinguishable enough from the DDO's original red one, yet recognizable, even on small scales. Also, it is colorblind-friendly. I applied a transparent background to the dark blue round one (I think that was the one we agreed on), and had Xevo apply it... We now have a favicon. ShoeMaker (Contributions • Message) 21:20, March 20, 2013 (EDT)
