Talk:Candidate for Wiki Extension, maybe?
Hey guys, I've used DynamicPageList on other wikis to generate tables automatically, keep the amount of duplicated data down, prevent pages from getting stale (i.e. the named items list), etc... I know you have NiceCategoryList installed, but would you consider it?
An example for what we could do with it:

- I wouldn't get my hopes too high, getting Xevo (Contribs • Message • Email) to install new extensions can be like pulling teeth. That being said, I'll research it some more, and if I think it is safe and efficient, I'll email Xevo asking him to take a look and install it. If I don't think it is safe, or useful, I'll tell him that as well. I know some of the other admins wanted something similar to that, which is why I'm willing to look into it.

uuh, DPL..., its not the first time this topic to be brought up on this wiki. IRRC Xevo once worked on it to get implemented on this wiki and could not make it work? i dont remember who requested it and helped Xevo with it (Borror, Silverhand, or that guy from GuildWars wiki? duh really cant remember it) but that sort of stuff happened some years ago. (i did a quick search and cloud only find out these ;)
i dont have high hopes either but i can certainly see the merit of it, quest XP listing on Adventure pack pages instantly come to mind, but yea, we have discussed it and tried it before...
btw, System, if you dont mind, can you reconsider your username? "This page was last modified this date, by System" showing up on the bottom of page would be confusing to visitors. ("oh this page must be last updated by some kind of automated wiki function.") should be able to get it renamed without losing track, using wiki function. welecome to the club.

- Hey, If Xevo needs help, I'll see what I can do. I was an admin on that wiki I linked, and was the one that made all those phantom templates to get the tables formatting correctly.
FYI, the Name's actually SysteRN (swedish word for Sister), not SysteM. I guess a small font size can lead to confusion. Systern (Contributions • Message) SysteRN
- Labeled Section Transclusion seems to be already installed on the wiki according to Special:Version, will that not work for you?

- There were lots of problems with previous versions of DPL, but it looks like they have been mostly fixed now. I have re-installed the extension. I'm still slightly nervous about the load that it can create for some pages. It looks like there are some pretty nice caching option though. Xevo (Contributions • Message) 18:31, March 4, 2013 (EST)
My Username[edit]
So it's been a year. There's been many talks of retiring TruGlass2 to a modern skin. Has one been decided upon? Does it have a legible font? Can I have my username back?
Oh, who ever changed it: Wikis are case sensitive. I couldn't log in for months because you changed the capitalization without notifying me. I've had a number of edits as just a guest.
